The Brief:
Propose a spatial design that engages with the notions of locality, place, culture and time. This design should exist in relation to providing temporary accommodation for ‘guests’ of the City of Brisbane/Gold Coast and should provide guests with a unique local experience. The project also makes reference to reactivating void spaces and combines the two - reactivate void spaces and provide a unique local experience for a temporary stay. The aims are to provide guests and visitors with a unique experience in relation to history, local culture, local food, and local experiences. As a spatial practitioner, you will define or identify suitable location(s) and offer a response addressing the criteria.
